- It is a precondition to enrolment in any of our Courses that you and / or your employer accept our Terms and Conditions available on the QAC Website.
- If enrolling 14 days or more prior to the commencement of the course the deposit of AU$1,000 per QACC Course Code must be paid. If enrolling less than 14 days prior to the commencement of the course, you must make full payment. Please contact our office for course pricing in this instance. Note: Your enrolment will not be processed until the appropriate deposit and / or full payment has been received. If the course is not paid in full prior to course commencement, you will not be able to participate. Notification of enrolment cancellation must be in writing otherwise your enrolment will stand, and you will be responsible for the full course fees. All QAC course prices are in Australian dollars.
- Your deposit is non-refundable. However, students have the option of transferring any monies paid, to another Queensland Aerospace College course at another date or location. This option is only valid for 12 months. A refund may be granted at the discretion of the CEO given extenuating circumstances and this must be in writing.
- If the employer is responsible for paying for the course fee, the employer must notify QAC in writing at least 28 days prior to course commencement of the cancellation of any enrolment, or seat reserved for that employer, otherwise the employer will be responsible for the full course fee.
- A copy of your current aircraft maintenance licence or other evidence of qualifications is required with your enrolment application. Your enrolment will not be processed without all the relevant documentation as it is required for eligibility checks.
- If this course is a web-based theory course, there will be theory examinations held during the course. It is your responsibility as the student enrolling onto this course, to organise / nominate an invigilator to supervise your examinations, and have your nominated invigilator QAC approved, a minimum of 2 weeks prior to course commencement, otherwise your enrolment will not be processed. If you are Brisbane based, you are able to sit your examinations at the QAC facility in Sandgate, where your examinations will be invigilated by a QAC staff member duly approved as an invigilator.
- A Tax Invoice will be issued once your enrolment has been processed and confirmed. The Tax Invoice will be issued in the Student’s Name unless otherwise stated. The Tax Invoice will have Queensland Aerospace College’s Bank Details so that you may directly transfer the Tax Invoice Amount. Any queries relating to the Tax Invoice should be addressed to the CEO ([email protected]).
- If your Employer is paying for your course, you must still enroll onto the course through the QAC website Online Enrolment and Payment Gateway. Your employer must provide a Company Purchase Order (PO) covering the cost of the course you are enrolling in. Once QAC receives the PO, we will issue an invoice to your employer, and this invoice must be paid prior to course commencement, otherwise you will not be able to participate. Your Employer may also be required to complete a Credit Check before the Tax Invoice is be issued.
- In keeping with QAC environmental policy, only digital copies of Certificates are issued for any QAC courses. Provided all payments for the course/s you have enrolled on and completed have been settled, these Certificates are emailed to you a minimum of fifteen (15) working days after course completion, by the QAC Accountable Manager. Certificates are issued in accordance with Civil Aviation Safety Authority (CASA) and/or European Aviation Safety Agency (EASA) approvals.
- If any course is “Aircraft Type Practical Training”, you agree to sign our Student Waiver, Release and Indemnity Form as a part of the Enrolment.
